Objetivos del proyecto
Objetivo Principal: Estudiar si la administración precoz de candesartán (comparado con placebo) previene el deterioro significativo (=10%) de la fracción de eyección del ventrículo izquierdo (FEVI) o la dilatación ventricular (volumen telediastólico ventricular izquierdo, VTDVI) en sujetos portadores genéticos de mutaciones causales de MCD sin expresión de la enfermedad. Objetivos Secundarios: - Estudiar si la administración precoz de candesartán (comparado con placebo) reduce o previene signos de progresión a MCD (descenso de FEVI, aumento de VTDVI o aparición de FEVI<50%; evaluadas por resonancia magnética cardíaca (RMC)) en sujetos portadores genéticos de mutaciones causales de MCD sin expresión de la enfermedad. - Estudiar la seguridad y tolerabilidad del candesartán (comparado con placebo) en la población del estudio.
